Our Story
After years of refining our approach to achieving unprecedented levels of energy efficiency, in 2015 we were awarded the first LEED Gold certified house designation in Connecticut. Owner Operator
Robert Dykins is the operating owner of Glastonbury Housesmith LLC. His main goal is to create a personalized building experience with workmanship worthy of a signature. He succeeds in building creative, smart, energy efficient homes with an emphasis on utilizing the newest products and the most current technology. Robert Dykins has achieved goals that are praised by the Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) for Homes Award. Robert and Glastonbury Housesmith LLC were awarded the first LEED Gold certified house in Connecticut. Since 1973 A&B Cooling & Heating Corp. has been keeping their customer’s homes a healthy and comfortable environment. Always seeking systems that provide the greatest efficiency and comfort levels, A&B began installing geothermal systems in 1995. Since that time, with over 500 satisfied geothermal customers, they have become leaders in geothermal technologies.
Bill Bradley
Bradley and Sons Plumbing Owner
Bill Bradley is owner of Bradley and Sons Plumbing, a small family company serving Marlborough, CT and the surrounding communities, and he personally oversees every project. Bill works with customers, builders, and architects to make sure the plumbing portion of a project is done to the highest standards. One thing unique about Bill is that he is continually looking to improve his plumbing designs with an eye toward being more energy and material efficient. He was recently certified in Uponor Aquasafe for the installation of residential fire sprinklers. This soon to be mandatory system allows safe egress for your family in case of fire.
